(CNN) — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will deliver remarks in Jerusalem on Thursday, addressing officials and journalists there at a time of heightened tension between Israel and the United States and amid a rise in antisemitism within his home state.DeSantis is scheduled to speak at an event, “Celebrate the Faces of Israel,” hosted by the Jerusalem Post and the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem. The speech comes during the third stop on DeSantis’ worldwide tour that has already landed him in Japan and South Korea and will end with a visit to the United Kingdom. The event will thrust DeSantis, a likely presidential contender, into Israel’s national tumult, marked by sectarian violence and domestic uprisings over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s efforts to overhaul the nation’s judiciary. Those plans, temporarily on hold, led to rising tension between President Joe Biden and Netanyahu.DeSantis has not addressed Netanyahu’s proposal, b...Students at Milford school back in class after pepper spray incident sends several to hospital

The pepper spray prompted an evacuation, with SKY7-HD cameras later capturing video of students and staff gathered outside. McIntyre said officials did not initially know what the substance was. A copy and paste pattern continues as once again as we start the morning off in the 40s, cap afternoon temps in the 50s to near 60, and once again track some scattered showers. While the theme has been similar the last few days, there have been some subtle day to day differences. Once difference I see today is the chance for pop-up showers is early and farther east. That means inside 495, there will be scattered showers midday-afternoon. With that said, it’s not a washout of an afternoon, just an afternoon that features variable conditions that will include breaks of shower, to brief bursts of rain with passing showers. The pattern finally improves tomorrow as a beauty of a day settles in with partly to mostly sunny skies. Temps run in the low to mid 50s along the immediate cost to the low to mid 60s inland. Great for a round of golf or on the little league fields. Saturday starts dry, but the shower chances do increase in the afternoon from southwest to northeast. Q: On behalf of Heat Nation, who all wanted the Heat to not make the playoffs because we had no shot at beating the Bucks . . . we all apologize. Come on now, with Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo out, Bam Adebayo hobbled, who could have predicted this? Jimmy Butler was simply amazing but everyone played their butts off. – Brian, Fort Lauderdale.A: It is now 3 a.m. as I sit here, annoyingly typing while someone is trying to sleep in the hotel room next door, spending another night with my friend, Blue Moon, and I’m still having trouble processing both what happened both tonight and in this series. It seems like between Giannis Antetokounmpo, Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo, this was nothing but a week of writing about injuries. And in the last two games, I had deadline stories fully written about the Heat going down big in the fourth quarter and their season approaching the finish line. Even as Wednesday night turns to Thursday morning, I’m still not sure how the Buck...Five questions that could shape the Ravens’ 2023 draft

Few teams draft better than the Ravens.Since 2000, only the New England Patriots (17) have selected more players than Baltimore (16) who have gone on to be named first-team All-Pro. In the past five years, the Ravens are also the only team to have drafted an eventual NFL Most Valuable Player, which quarterback Lamar Jackson was in 2019.Other notable players the Ravens have drafted in the past five years include All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowl tight end Mark Andrews and four-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr., both in the third round in 2018; All-Pro kick returner and wide receiver Devin Duvernay in the third round in 2020; and emerging linebacker Patrick Queen in the first round in 2020.There have been plenty of other contributors, too. A pair of 2022 first-round picks, safety Kyle Hamilton and center Tyler Linderbaum, were among the league’s best rookies. J.K. Dobbins, drafted in the second round in 2020, rushed for nine touchdowns and led all NFL running backs ...Latest news
