Sponsored Content Though frequently frustrating, freeways are an essential part of life in the Bay Area. Due to their necessity, the busiest freeways see approximately one million vehicles daily, according to calculations from available data. While the assertion that a high traffic volume will inevitably lead to more accidents, such details can be misleading. Increased traffic causes greater congestion, which means slower speeds and fewer collisions. In fact, the highest number of accidents across all Bay Area freeways occurs during non-peak hours when drivers are more inclined to speed or engage in distracting behavior behind the wheel. Additionally, some freeways in the Bay Area are more crash-prone than others despite the time of day, so familiarity with where and when most collisions occur may help you avoid a potentially life-altering accident. The Bay Area car accident attorneys at Arash Law have looked into a multitude of factors, including traffic flow complexities and infras...Pac-12 bowl projections: Washington to the playoff and USC in the New Year’s Six, leaving Oregon and Utah on the outside looking in

The Sun, LA and Independence bowls must select teams based on conference record.— Pac-12 teams must finish with at least six wins to be bowl-eligible. The conference voted several years ago to prohibit 5-7 from participating even if there are spots available. The bowl projections will be published in t...East Bay office tower lands lease with cutting-edge stethoscope maker

Amy Sedaris is known as an outrageously hilarious actor, comedian, and writer, best known for her wacky characters, unique voice and over-the-top delivery. While she grew a true cult following with her role as the jilted Jerri Blake in the Comedy Central series “Strangers with Candy,” she was a performer long before she ever had a platform.Raised in North Carolina among a band of siblings, the self-titled “Talent Family,” Sedaris had a natural funny bone from the get-go. From pranking her family members, to performing plays in the living room and making fake announcements over the loudspeaker at the local Winn-Dixie, she was never afraid to let her talent shine. She may not have always had an audience, but she never failed to find the spotlight. After moving to Chicago to join the ranks of the iconic comedy troupe Second City, Sedaris would make a name for herself with quirky TV characters like Jerri Blake, Princess Carolyn in “BoJack Horseman,” and Mimi Kanassis in “Unb...Latest news
